The "Ribeirão Goes to the Movies" project – 2019 – continues to be a public success at Cauim!
The "Ribeirão Goes to the Movies" project, which distributes free movie tickets, got off to a great start. Thousands of people have already picked up their tickets and come to see a film at the Cineclube Cauim screening room in downtown Ribeirão Preto.
The "Ribeirão Goes to the Movies" event, in its 2019 version, is organized by... Municipality of Ribeirão Pretoo, through Municipal Department of Culture and distributes it for free 54.600 Movie tickets for the population of Ribeirão Preto.
The project is the result of an agreement with National Culture Fund, from the Special Secretariat for Culturethe, from the Ministry of Citizenship. Recent Brazilian films will be shown daily, including weekends and holidays, with free admission for anyone who wants to watch. The screenings take place in the Cauim cinema, which won the bid to show the films. The films are selected from the most recent Brazilian productions, aiming to cater to all age groups and interests.
