The Cineclube Cauim project, offering free film screenings to the population of Ribeirão Preto and the surrounding region, kicks off with a screening of an award-winning film from the Cannes International Film Festival, which was met with excellent audience response.

The Cauim Film Club launched the "Cinema for All" project at the end of January, which includes holding open film screenings for the entire population of Ribeirão Preto and the surrounding region throughout 2020, with hundreds of people attending each session. The first film scheduled was the acclaimed "Bacurau," winner of the Jury Prize at the Cannes International Film Festival.

All project sessions are free and, in addition to individual attendance, the films can be enjoyed by civil society entities, such as residents' associations, unions and social assistance entities, among others. Individual tickets can be picked up at the time of the scheduled session; entities wishing to participate with groups should call (16) 3441-4341 or send a request by email to cauimagenda@gmail.com, to schedule a session time.

“Cinema Para Todos” is produced by Cineclube Cauim with resources obtained through Federal Law 8.313/91, under number PRONAC 192.163, with the approval of the Special Secretariat of Culture, of the Ministry of Tourism, of the Federal Government of Brazil.
