The initiative invites the public to an in-person chat that promotes dialogue, active listening, and the strengthening of democracy through the exchange of experiences with special guests.

The goal of the meeting is clear: to listen, with education and respect, People who have contributed—and continue to contribute—to the process of democratization of Brazil. It will be a space for not repeating past mistakes, Not only should we learn from them, but we should also build together a more just and inclusive future.

At each meeting, guests with significant backgrounds will share their experiences and perspectives. And to kick off this journey of reflection, we will have the presence of... Paulo Vannuchi, former Minister of Human Rights of Brazil and one of the coordinators of the project Brazil: Never Again — an essential work for anyone who wants to understand the reality of the military dictatorship in the country and combat historical denialism.

Space for Critical Thinking

O Cauim Film Club, In addition to being a cultural hub in Ribeirão Preto, it is now also consolidating itself as a space to strengthen critical and democratic thinking.
