Cauim hosts the "Cinema and Citizenship: Lecture Series and Audiovisual Exhibition" project of the Municipal Department of Culture and FUNDET.

A project with one hundred and seventeen film screenings and lectures encourages citizenship education among first-cycle students in the municipal school system.

The Municipal Department of Culture, in partnership with FUNDET, the Foundation for Education for Work, will hold a series of one hundred and seventeen film screenings and lectures connected to the films shown, given by teachers and specialists from diverse areas, focused on inclusion in citizenship, aimed at children aged six to ten enrolled in the municipal education network of Ribeirão Preto.

The first session was attended by teachers and students from EMEF Professor Jarbas Massulo, and the lecture was on the theme "Education for Consumption," given by Professor João Calil, who is an Architect and Urban Planner and a PhD candidate in Social Sciences and Technologies at UFSCAR, the Federal University of São Carlos.

The implementation of this project is the result of an agreement between the Municipality of Ribeirão Preto, through the Municipal Department of Culture, and the Special Secretariat of Culture of the Ministry of Citizenship, Federal Government.
