A exibição gratuita do filme ganhador de quatro Oscars em 2020 no Cineclube Cauim na quinta-feira, 20 de fevereiro, teve excelente participação da população de Ribeirão Preto. Parceria continuará em 17 de março, com a exibição do filme “A Vida Invisível”.

A sala de cinema do Cauim mais uma vez ficou pequena para tanta procura por convites de uma sessão. Desta vez foi para a exibição gratuita do filme “Parasita”, do cineasta sul-coreano Bong Joon Ho, grande vencedor da festa de entrega do Oscar em 2020, onde recebeu os prêmios de “Melhor Filme”, “Melhor Filme Estrangeiro”, “Melhor Direção” e ” Melhor Roteiro Adaptado”. Todos os 675 lugares disponíveis foram ocupados por um público composto por pessoas de diferentes idades, profissões e classes sociais.

A sessão foi a segunda parceria realizada pelo SESC Ribeirão Preto com o Cineclube Cauim, que busca dar acesso a filmes de grande sucesso e reconhecimento internacional , promovendo a arte cinematográfica e o acesso de toda a população a esses filmes, gratuitamente. A primeira exibição foi do filme brasileiro “Bacurau”, vencedor do Grande Prêmio do Júri do Festival de Cannes de 2019, que aconteceu em 21 de janeiro.

O próximo evento da parceria acontecerá no dia 17 de março de 2020, com a exibição do filme “A Vida Invisível”, uma co-produção Brasil-Alemanha, dirigido pelo cineasta brasileiro Karim Aïnouz (Madame Satã, Praia do Futuro) lançado em 2019 e tem Carol Duarte e Júlia Stockler no elenco, com participação especial de Fernanda Montenegro e baseado no livro A Vida Invisível de Eurídice Gusmão, da escritora pernambucana Martha Batalha. A produção ganhou o prêmio principal da Mostra Um Certo Olhar, no Festival de Cannes de 2019 e foi o longa-metragem indicado pelo Brasil como representante ao Oscar 2020.
