The "School Goes to the Movies - 2020" project will begin in early February.
This well-established project, in partnership with the Municipal Department of Education, has been running since 2004 and will benefit thousands of students from municipal public schools.
The Cauim Film Club will begin another edition of a project that has become a tradition in our city at the beginning of February. This is the "School Goes to the Cinema" project, which brings students from municipal public schools to watch a film for free at the Cauim. Transportation for the students to and from Cauim is provided by specially chartered buses.
As usual, the "School Goes to the Movies" program specifically features films appropriate for the age group of the students involved, thus contributing to their intellectual development and helping them integrate as citizens of the community in which they live. At the same time, their content makes them an excellent tool for pedagogical work in the classroom.
The "School Goes to the Movies - 2020" Project is an initiative of the Ribeirão Preto Municipal Government, through the Municipal Department of Education, in partnership with the Cauim Film Club.
