Cineclube Cauim, in Ribeirão Preto, will screen the 2025 film “A Batalha da Rua Maria Antônia” this Thursday (17), starting at 8 pm. Tickets can be purchased from R$ 10.
The film takes place in October 1968, during the Brazilian military dictatorship, at the Faculty of Philosophy of USP (University of São Paulo), when students and professors from the student movement confronted attacks by the Anti-Communist Hunting Command in an event that became known as the Battle of the Students.

Those interested in attending must pay a "maintenance fee" at the event entrance, which is R$10 (half-price) and R$20 (full price). The Cineclube Cauim is located at Rua Olavo Bilac, 135, in Vila Seixas.
