A chat with the directors of "Bacurau" filled the Cauim room for the second time.

The presence of the directors of the film "Bacurau," Kléber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles, once again attracted a spectacular audience on the second day of the event organized by SESC Ribeirão Preto and Cineclube Cauim.

Once again, film enthusiasts packed the Cauim screening room on the second day of the event related to the film "Bacurau," organized by Cauim and SESC Ribeirão Preto. As on the previous day, when the film was shown, the room was at full capacity, with over nine hundred people in attendance.

Kléber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles discussed the conception, scriptwriting, and production of the film, which lasted an incredible ten years, with spectacular results, as the film was a box office success and won the Jury Prize at the Cannes International Film Festival, one of the most important in world cinema. They also talked about their careers and the idea of producing genre films in Brazil, something uncommon here. They also addressed the current state of Brazilian culture, which no longer has a specific ministry and whose incentive laws are threatened. The audience's reception was excellent, applauding several parts of their speeches.

The success of the event related to the film "Bacurau" highlights the need to provide the population of our city with quality Brazilian cultural products and also to give opportunities for encounters like the one held this Wednesday with successful filmmakers and cultural producers.
