A showcase packed with short films dedicated to young people and teenagers, which discuss science today. All with an approach focused on sustainability and based on the STEAM method. A must-see for teachers and students.
The films in this showcase are part of the 6th edition of the Science Film Festival Brazil, organized by Midiativa, which is coming to Ribeirão Preto for the first time. Admission is free every day.

The home of little scientists – stingless bees
Country of origin: Thailand
Dubbed – 9 minutes
Synopsis: Discover the fascinating world of stingless bees, which are a little different from common bees, with different sizes and colors, uniquely shaped nests, and of course, they don't have the sharp stingers that other bees possess. Stingless bees are harmless, approachable, and adorable.

I'm not afraid.
Country of origin: Norway
Dubbed – 7 minutes
Synopsis: While playing hide-and-seek, Vanja goes out into a dark courtyard filled with shadows that twist and stretch in strange ways, and unknown and disturbing noises. Facing her fear, Vanja imagines she is a strong and fearless tiger, transforming the experience into a great adventure.

Synopsis: When Ema's family decides to do a spring cleaning on the farm, her parents take the opportunity to impart valuable lessons about sustainability, such as the three "Rs": reduce, reuse, and recycle. Ewé de Òsányìn: the secret of the leaves
Country of origin: Brazil
In Portuguese – 22 minutes.
Synopsis: A child with leaves covering their body flees into the forest where they encounter enchanted beings from indigenous and Black traditions. They meet Òsányìn, the Orisha of the leaves, who reveals the power of plants.

Luna's Show! – Accelerate, Future
Country of origin: Brazil
In Portuguese – 11 minutes.
Synopsis: Luna and Jupiter's curiosity shifts gears to the origins of cars. What was the first car like? Was it a giant or a tiny contraption? Could it drive on the streets and did it pollute the air? They then embark on an imaginative expedition into the past.

Luna's Show! – The Chicken or the Egg?
Country of origin: Brazil
In Portuguese – 11 minutes.
Synopsis: Faced with a morning without eggs, Luna's craving for an omelet leads her to a timeless enigma: Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Intrigued by the origins of this staple of daily breakfast, Luna and her two companions delve into a prehistoric realm of imagination.

Luna's Show! – Plates in action
Country of origin: Brazil
In Portuguese – 11 minutes.
Synopsis: Kyiah's scraped knee sparks curiosity among his friends Luna, Jupiter, and Clyde. Kyiah doesn't want to bandage his injury, and this hesitation leads to an imaginative journey into the body's remarkable healing abilities. The friends embark on a fantastical adventure, exploring the wonders of how wounds heal and the role bandages play in recovery.
