Cardoso<br>Edit\u00e9 par : Marco Aur\u00e9lio Lucchetti<\/em><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c Il y a des films que j&#039;ai vus huit, voire quinze fois. \u00bb<em>.<br><\/em>\u00c9<\/strong><strong> Est-il possible de vivre sans Hitchcock ni Rossellini ?\u201d<em><br>F<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Phrases tir\u00e9es du film Avant <\/em><\/strong><strong>R\u00e9volution <em>(<\/em>Prima della Rivoluzione<em>, 1964), de Bernardo Bertolucci<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>J&#039;ai un ami qui me demandait toujours si je connaissais un film des ann\u00e9es 60. Il n&#039;en connaissait pas le titre. Il savait seulement que Burt Lancaster y jouait et il pouvait r\u00e9citer une sc\u00e8ne.<em>.<br><\/em>La sc\u00e8ne en question montrait un homme qui voulait rentrer chez lui en traversant \u00e0 la nage les piscines de ses voisins.<em>.<br><\/em>Apr\u00e8s de longues recherches, j&#039;ai enfin r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 percer le myst\u00e8re. J&#039;ai dit \u00e0 mon ami que le film en question est un classique et qu&#039;il s&#039;intitule\u2026 <em>Une vie \u00e9nigmatique<\/em> (<em>Le nageur<\/em>, (1968). Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Frank Perry et Sydney Pollack. Et \u00e0 son sujet, le regrett\u00e9 critique Rubens Ewald Filho a dit ce qui suit dans le livre <em>Le cin\u00e9ma<\/em> <em>Aujourd&#039;hui \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision<\/em> (S\u00e3o Paulo, Global, 1975, p. 71) :<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00a0Drame symbolique inspir\u00e9 d&#039;une nouvelle de John Cheever. Burt Lancaster traverse \u00e0 la nage les piscines du quartier pour rentrer chez lui, croisant diverses personnes et traversant diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes de sa vie. Le film est m\u00e9connu car il a \u00e9t\u00e9 remont\u00e9 par le producteur (Sydney Pollack a retourn\u00e9 la sc\u00e8ne avec la ma\u00eetresse). Je lui ai donc annonc\u00e9 (c&#039;\u00e9tait vers l&#039;an 2000) une nouvelle plut\u00f4t d\u00e9cevante\u00a0: <em>\u00c9nigme d&#039;un<\/em> <em>Vie<\/em> il n&#039;avait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 en <em>DVD<\/em>; Et les cha\u00eenes de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision (du moins, les cha\u00eenes gratuites) n&#039;avaient aucun int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 le diffuser, car il \u00e9tait ancien.<em>.<br><\/em>Je n&#039;ai pas pu le voir en entier non plus. <em>Une vie \u00e9nigmatique<\/em>. Je n&#039;en ai probablement vu que des extraits dans une case horaire de films tardifs sur Globo TV dans les ann\u00e9es 80. Cependant, l&#039;obsession de mon ami pour ce film a piqu\u00e9 ma curiosit\u00e9. Et moi aussi, j&#039;avais envie de le voir. <em>L&#039;\u00e9nigme d&#039;une vie.<br><\/em>Ce n&#039;est qu&#039;en 2012, lors de la sortie du film, que le public a pu le d\u00e9couvrir. <em>DVD<\/em> gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 Lume Filmes, que j&#039;ai enfin pu voir, <em>Une vie \u00e9nigmatique<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"736\" height=\"1024\" class=\"wp-image-8348\" src=\"https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-2-736x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-2-736x1024.jpg 736w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-2-216x300.jpg 216w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-2-768x1068.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-2-467x650.jpg 467w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-2.jpg 1075w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 736px) 100vw, 736px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, une autre connaissance a cit\u00e9 un passage d&#039;un film qu&#039;il consid\u00e8re comme merveilleux, relatant les d\u00e9tails d&#039;une sc\u00e8ne avec l&#039;acteur italien Marcello Mastroianni.<em>.<br><\/em>Il m&#039;a fallu un certain temps pour d\u00e9chiffrer le titre du film, car je ne l&#039;avais pas particuli\u00e8rement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9. C&#039;est <em>Yeux noirs<\/em> (<em>Oci Ciornie<\/em>, 1987), un film italo-sovi\u00e9tique-am\u00e9ricain r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Nikita Mikhalkov, fr\u00e8re du cin\u00e9aste Andrei Konchalovsky.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"558\" class=\"wp-image-8349\" src=\"https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-3-1024x558.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-3-1024x558.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-3-300x164.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-3-768x419.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-3-650x354.jpg 650w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-3.jpg 1262w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>Une sc\u00e8ne de<\/em> Yeux noirs<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Afin de ne pas offenser mon ami en parlant mal de <em>Yeux noirs<\/em>, Concernant le film, qui reprenait plusieurs nouvelles de l&#039;\u00e9crivain russe Anton Tchekhov, j&#039;ai dit que je ne l&#039;avais pas vu. Puis, mon ami me l&#039;a pr\u00eat\u00e9\u2026 <em>DVD<\/em> tir\u00e9 du film<em>.<br><\/em>Je me souviens maintenant que le <em>DVD<\/em> Je l&#039;ai encore aujourd&#039;hui. Il faut que je le leur rende et que je leur dise que je l&#039;ai ador\u00e9. <em>Yeux noirs<\/em>. Si je ne fais pas \u00e7a, je vais perdre un ami.<em>.<br><\/em>J&#039;ai fait cette introduction pour souligner que le culte vou\u00e9 \u00e0 un film \u2013 un culte qui nous pousse \u00e0 l&#039;encenser sans retenue \u2013 nous transforme en idol\u00e2tres d&#039;\u0153uvres parfois m\u00e9connues, voire inconnues du grand public. Ce sont des films qui, \u00e0 un moment donn\u00e9 de notre vie, nous ont captiv\u00e9s, demeurant grav\u00e9s dans un recoin de notre m\u00e9moire \u00e9motionnelle.<em>.<br><\/em>Je tiens \u00e0 souligner qu&#039;on ne peut discuter de go\u00fbt avec un fanatique d&#039;une \u0153uvre cin\u00e9matographique particuli\u00e8re. Je le pr\u00e9cise car je d\u00e9fends moi aussi bec et ongles les films que je v\u00e9n\u00e8re. D&#039;ailleurs, j&#039;ai failli \u00eatre lynch\u00e9 une fois pour avoir encens\u00e9 un film. <em>Scarface<\/em> (<em>idem<\/em>, 1983), r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Brian De Palma et mettant en vedette Al Pacino et Michelle Pfeiffer.<em>.<br><\/em>Pour d\u00e9fendre ce film, que plusieurs critiques consid\u00e8rent comme comportant de nombreuses sc\u00e8nes de violence excessive et gratuite, un langage cru (avec des grossi\u00e8ret\u00e9s) et une consommation fr\u00e9quente et explicite de drogues dures, je suis all\u00e9 jusqu&#039;\u00e0 relater, avec des d\u00e9tails m\u00e9ticuleux, des s\u00e9quences enti\u00e8res (dont la sc\u00e8ne de la tron\u00e7onneuse) que j&#039;ai trouv\u00e9es merveilleuses.<em>.<br><\/em>Au fil des ann\u00e9es, <em>Scarface<\/em> Il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 recevoir des critiques positives, allant m\u00eame jusqu&#039;\u00e0 \u00eatre salu\u00e9 par le r\u00e9alisateur Martin Scorsese. Et, actuellement, certains critiques le consid\u00e8rent comme l&#039;un des meilleurs films de mafia de tous les temps.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"445\" class=\"wp-image-8350\" src=\"https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-4.jpg 750w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-4-300x178.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cauim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/em-busca-4-650x386.jpg 650w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>Al Pacino, qui joue Tony Montana, un baron de la drogue \u00e0 Miami, et Michelle Pfeiffer, qui joue Elvira Hancock, la femme de Tony, dans<\/em> Scarface<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Pour ce qui est de Brian De Palma, c&#039;est, \u00e0 mon avis, un cin\u00e9aste. <em>culte,<\/em> comme <em>Le Fant\u00f4me du Paradis<\/em> (<em>Le Fant\u00f4me du Paradis<\/em>, 1974) et <em>Femme fatale<\/em> (<em>idem<\/em>, (2002). Impossible de rester indiff\u00e9rent \u00e0 son style cin\u00e9matographique. De Palma semble apposer sa marque sur chaque plan de ses films. Pourtant, nombreux sont ceux qui le d\u00e9daignent, le qualifiant de cin\u00e9aste mineur et d&#039;imitateur d&#039;Alfred Hitchcock. C&#039;est l&#039;identification extraordinaire entre l&#039;\u0153uvre cin\u00e9matographique et le spectateur, qui donne de l&#039;importance \u00e0 des films qui n&#039;avaient gu\u00e8re d&#039;impact \u00e0 leur sortie \u2014 par exemple, ceux que je cite. <em>Traces de haine<\/em> (<em>La Prisonni\u00e8re du d\u00e9sert<\/em>, 1956), par John Ford; <em>Poursuivant implacable<\/em> (<em>Sale<\/em> <em>Harry<\/em>, 1971), par Don Siegel; <em>Pi\u00e9g\u00e9<\/em> (<em>Duel<\/em>, 1971), par Steven Spielberg ; <em>La Reine du Diable<\/em> (1974), d&#039;Ant\u00f4nio Carlos
