Based on a devastating true story, the film The Voice of Hind Rajab This film reconstructs the events surrounding Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl trapped in a car under crossfire in Gaza City. The narrative uses the real and harrowing audio of her plea for help to the Red Cross, as volunteers and family members wage a bureaucratic and physical battle against time to reach her amidst the military siege. Between dramatic staging and documentary starkness, the feature film (approximately an hour and a half long) explores the powerlessness in the face of violence and the strength of a voice that resonated around the world as a symbol of resistance and tragedy.
Directed by Kaouther Ben Hania, The Voice of Hind Rajab features in the cast: Hind Rajab, Motaz Malhees, Saja Kilani.
